하나님의 걸작품(God’s Masterpiece)

하나님은 그의 아들 예수 그리스도의 희생적인 사랑을 통해 우리를 하나님의 걸작품으로 재창조하셨습니다. 그분은 우리가 타락하기 전 아담의 모습으로 회복되기를 원하셨습니다. 그러므로 구원은 재창조의 작업이며, 우리의 원래 창조로의 회복입니다. 예수 그리스도의 십자가 희생과 부활을 통하여 이러한 재창조 작업이 견고해 졌습니다. 이것이 복음의 핵심입니다. 우리를 영적 시체에서 하나님의 걸작으로 변화시킨 것은 복음적 사랑의 힘입니다. 하나님의 창조의 역사는 멈추지 않았으며, 하나님은 여전히 성령을 통해 우리 안에서 일하고 계십니다. 그렇다면 어떻게 하면 하나님의 복음적인 사랑을 세상에 보여줄 수 있을까요? 그것은 바로 예수님의 희생적인 사랑을 본받아 이웃에게 선을 행하는 것입니다. 사랑은 사람을 변화시키는 힘이 있습니다. 우리는 이미 예수님을 통해 이 사랑을 받았습니다. 어떤 사람은 더 큰 사랑을 받고 어떤 사람은 덜 받은 것이 아니라 모든 그리스도인은 동일한 사랑을 받았습니다. 그 동일하고 완전한 사랑은 하나님께서 그분의 아들을 통해 주신 구원의 사랑입니다. 그 사랑의 힘이 오늘날 우리를 하나님의 걸작품으로 만드는 힘입니다. 그 사랑의 힘으로 이웃을 내 몸처럼 사랑할 때, 죄로 죽었던 죄인이 하나님의 백성으로 다시 태어나고 죄인이 성도가 되는 새로운 역사, 재창조의 역사가 일어납니다. 하나님은 우리의 선행을 통해 복음의 광채가 빛나도록 일하십니다. 우리의 선행은 하나님의 사랑에 대한 감사의 열매입니다. 우리의 선행은 이웃에 대한 하나님의 사랑을 보여주는 것입니다. 우리는 이미 하나님의 긍휼과 사랑과 은혜를 경험했습니다. 우리는 어려운 이웃을 향한 하나님의 마음을 가져야 합니다. 이 사랑의 마음이 하나님의 걸작품이 된 우리 안에 있어야 합니다. 이 사랑의 힘은 하나님을 모르는 이웃을 하나님의 걸작품으로 만드는 데 있어야 합니다. 이것이 하나님께서 우리를 구원하신 목적입니다. 여러분은 하나님의 걸작품입니까? 그렇다면 자신이 하나님의 걸작품인지 어떻게 알 수 있을까요? 여러분이 이웃과의 관계에서 그리스도의 희생적인 사랑의 성품을 본받으려고 노력한다면, 여러분의 선행을 통해 하나님께서 영광을 받으실 것입니다. 하나님의 사랑으로 어려운 이웃에게 행한 선행은 영원히 기억될 것입니다. 그것이 바로 하나님의 영광을 드러내는 재료입니다. 여러분이 선행을 통해 하나님의 영광을 드러낼 때, 여러분은 놀라운 행복과 기쁨, 평화를 경험하게 될 것입니다. 이 모든 은혜를 경험하시길 바랍니다.   

Through the sacrificial love of his Son, Jesus Christ, God recreated us as God's masterpieces. He intended us to be restored to what Adam was before the fall. Salvation is therefore a work of recreation, a restoration to our original creation. It is the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross that made this work of recreation established. This is the heart of the gospel. It is the power of the evangelical that has transformed us from spiritual carcasses into God's masterpieces. God's work of creation has not stopped; God is still at work in us through the Spirit. So how can we display God's evangelical love to the world? It's by doing good to our neighbors in imitation of Jesus' sacrificial love. Love has the power to transform people. We have already received this love through Jesus. All Christians have received the same love, not that some have received greater love and some less. That same, perfect love is the saving love that God has given through His Son. The power of that love is what makes us God's masterpiece today. When we use the power of that love to love our neighbors as ourselves, a new history, a history of re-creation, takes place: sinners who are dead in sin are reborn as God's people, sinners become saints. God allows the brilliance of the gospel to shine through our good works. Our good works are the fruit of our gratitude for God's love. Our good works are a demonstration of God's love for our neighbor. We have already experienced God's compassion, love, and grace. We should have the same heart of God for our neighbors in need. This heart of love should be in us, who have become God's masterpiece. The power of this love should be in making our neighbors who do not know God into God's masterpiece. This is what God has saved us for. Are you God's masterpiece? So how do you know you are God's masterpiece? If you are striving to emulate the character of Christ's sacrificial love in your relationships with your neighbors, then God will be glorified through your good deeds. The good deeds you do to your neighbor in need because of God's love will be remembered forever. It is the material that reveals God's glory. As you reveal God's glory through your good deeds, you will experience incredible happiness, joy, and peace. May you experience all of these graces.
