감사합니다(Thank You!)

벌써 추수 감사절입니다. 한 해를 돌아보며 하나님께 감사하는 시간이 있어 감사할 뿐입니다. 그런데 밀린 숙제를 하는 듯 해서 죄송한 마음이 듭니다. 정말 곰곰이 생각해 보면 감사치 않은 것이 없습니다. 살아 숨쉬며 움직일 수 있는 것에 감사할 뿐입니다. 생각할 수 있고 말할 수 있고 글을 쓸 수 있어서 감사합니다. 볼 수 있고 들을 수 있고 먹을 수 있고 잘 수 있고 운동할 수 있고 일할 수 있어서 감사한 일입니다. 함께 나눌 수 있는 이웃이 있어 감사합니다. 매일의 일상이 때론 무료하고 재미 없게 느꼈는데 일상이 가능해서 매우 감사한 일입니다. 아침 상쾌한 공기를 들이 마실 수 있어서 감사합니다. 콧노래로 찬양을 할 수 있는 것도 감사합니다. 집과 양식이 있어서 감사합니다. 사랑하는 가족, 교회 식구들이 있어서 감사합니다. 무엇 보다도 우리 주 예수 그리스도가 있어서 감사합니다. 그의 은혜, 사랑이 감사할 뿐입니다. 구원 받은 자녀가 된 것이 감사할 뿐입니다. 또한 지난 11개월 동안 하나님이 은혜 교회에 베풀어 주신 사랑이 감사할 뿐입니다. 코로나 바이러스 팬데믹 중에 교우들을 건강하게 지켜 주셔서 감사합니다. 여러 분이 바이러스에 감염되었지만 모두 회복되어 감사드립니다. 매 주일 빠짐 없이 하나님을 예배할 수 있어서 감사합니다. 예배를 위하여 매 주일 찬양팀이 찬양을 준비하고 인도해 주어서 감사합니다. 예배할 수 있는 교회 건물과 교우들이 있어서 감사합니다. 매일 묵상 말씀을 나눌 수 있어서 감사합니다. 교회에 여러 교우들을 더해 주셔서 감사합니다. 교회 재정도 충족하게 채워 주셔서 감사합니다. 또한 함께 교제하고 지지하는 교우들이 있어서 감사합니다. 저와 저의 가족을 위한 기도, 격려, 위로에 감사드립니다. 교회를 위해서 섬겨주신 모든 분들께 감사합니다. 교우 한 분 한 분께 진심으로 감사를 드립니다. 한 해 동안 자기의 자리를 지켜 주시고 함께 해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 감사는 하나님을 영화롭게 합니다. 감사는 하나님이 기뻐하시는 입술의 열매입니다. 감사는 하나님을 높여드리는 예배입니다. 감사가 넘치면 행복, 기쁨, 활력이 넘칩니다. 감사는 우리 영혼을 복되게 하는 행위입니다. 감사는 하나님께 올려드리는 향연입니다. 우리는 오늘 추수 감사절 주일을 지키고 있습니다. 모든 감사를 받으시기에 합당하신 하나님께 감사하며 예배 하시길 기원합니다. 뿐만 아니라 한 해 동안 함께 한 가족, 교우, 이웃 모두에게 감사하는 시간이 되길 소망합니다. 모두 행복한 감사절 보내세요. 

It is already Thanksgiving. Looking back over this year, I am very thankful for taking a time to thank God. But, I am so sorry because I feel as if I were catching up on my homework. Indeed, the more I mull over this year, the more I am thankful. I am so grateful for being alive that I can still breathe and move around. I am grateful for being able to think, speak, and write. I am thankful for being able to see, hear, eat, sleep, exercise, and work. I am thankful for having the neighbors to have fellowship with. Though I sometimes feel monotonous and no fun about my daily living, I am very thankful for having my daily living. I am thankful for being able to breathe in morning fresh air. I am thankful to being able to hum through the nose and sing praises to God. I am thankful for my house and food. I am thankful for my family and church family. Above all, I am thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for His grace and love. I am thankful for having been a child of God. Also, I am so thankful that God has granted His love to our Grace church for the last eleven months. I am so thankful that God has preserved all of us in health from the coronavirus pandemic. I am so thankful that several of us were infected with the virus but all of them were fully recovered. I am so thankful that we have been worshiping God every Sunday without missing any. I am thankful that our Praise Team has prepared praise songs and conducted our praise every Sunday. I am so thankful that we have a church building and fellow believers for worship. I am so thankful for sharing Daily Meditation with others. I am so thankful to God for having added a few to our congregation. I am so thankful for God to have met our financial need abundantly. I am so thankful for all friendly, supportive fellow believers. I am thankful for their prayers, encouragement, and comfort for me and my family. I am thankful to all of those who have been serving the church. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to each one of you in the church. I am thankful for each of you to have kept your place in the church throughout the year. Thanksgiving glorifies God. It is a fruit of our lips pleasing God. It is an act of worship that exalts God. The more we give thanks, the more we feel happy, joyful, and healthful. Gratitude is an act that blesses our soul. It is fragrant incense offered up to God. Today, we are keeping the Thanksgiving Lord’s Day. I pray that all of you give thanks to God in worship who is worthy of all gratitude. Also, I wish that you would have a time to thank your family, friends, and neighbors who have been with you through the year. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
